RYA/ISAF Offshore Safety Course
The Offshore Safety Course satisfies the training required by ISAF Offshore Special Regulation 6.01 for category 0, 1 and some category 2 offshore races. It is a requirement for skippers and crews of yachts wishing to take part in the Rolex Fastnet Race and some other offshore races.
The course is two days and there are no prerequisites to attend the course.
The first day is half a day in the classroom and 3 hours in the pool and the second day is half a day in the classroom and the afternoon onboard a boat.
